What this website collects
- No accounts or forms. You can use the whole site, including the scorecard, without telling us anything about yourself. Names typed into the scorecard stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
- No tracking or advertising cookies. We don't use analytics that follow you around the web, and we don't show ads on this site.
- Hosting. The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process data in the United States and is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Emails. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them once they're no longer needed. Ask us any time and we'll delete them sooner.
- Fonts. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so loading a page sends nothing to Google or other font services.
YouTube
Our videos are published on YouTube. When you watch them on YouTube, or when we embed a video on this site and you press play, YouTube and Google handle that viewing under the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode for embeds.
YouTube API Services
Ahaville's own production tools use YouTube API Services to upload and manage videos on the Ahaville channel and to read that channel's statistics. These tools only act on our own channel. They do not access, collect or store information about visitors to this website or about viewers of our videos. Use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Account owners can review or remove access granted to apps at Google security settings.
Children
This site doesn't ask for or collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Since we hold almost nothing, the quickest route is to email hello@ahaville.com.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. Ours is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
